What age groups qualify for the 2026 UCI World Championship according to UCI distance rules?

124 km distance: age groups between 19 and 49 years, men and women.
50 to 59 years, men only.

80 km distance: 50 to 59 years, women; 60+ years, men and women.

Open categories do NOT qualify for the World Championship.

How do I qualify for the World Championship?
You must finish within the top 25% of all registered participants in your category.

​

Is there a special medal for those who qualify for the World Championship?
Yes. Everyone who completes the course before the time limit will receive a Finisher medal at the finish line.
Those who qualify for the World Championship will receive an additional medal, awarded on the podium.

The champions of each category will earn a champion’s jersey.

What is the time limit?
For the 124 km distance: 5h30m, which equals an average speed of 24 km/h.
For the 80 km distance: 4h, which equals an average speed of 20 km/h.

Will there be parking at the start area?
Yes, at Unicentro, just a few meters from the start and finish. It will have a cost.

What time is the start?
At 6:00 AM, the first corral starts. Timing is taken from the starting gun, NOT by chip.
We will inform the start times for each corral. Starting in a corral ahead of your assigned one is grounds for disqualification.

Friday, December 5: Hotel Estelar La Fontana, from 2 PM to 8 PM
Saturday, December 6: Hotel Estelar La Fontana, from 10 AM to 8 PM

Can I change the distance I registered for?
Yes, only until tomorrow, December 1st. After that date, no changes will be allowed. No other type of change is permitted.

How do I make a change to my registration?
You can do it directly through the Fanki app.

Can someone else pick up my kit?
Yes, you need a copy of the ID of the registered participant and a written authorization.

Will there be hydration stations along the course?
Yes, we will announce exactly at which kilometer marks they will be located.
Each participant must put a foot on the ground to receive hydration.

Staff will be there to assist.
